Digital Manufacturing
In this module, students will:
- Explore and identify the components of Digital Manufacturing systems and how they are used in industry.
- Use the 2D and 3D Cartesian coordinate systems.
- Use a software program to design a 3D printable part.
- Prepare a 3D printer for a manufacturing operation.
- Recognize the use of reverse engineering.
- Compare and contrast additive manufacturing with subtractive manufacturing.
