10th Annual DVEF BATTLE OF THE BOOKS for 2021-2022

Battle of the Books is a reading incentive program for students in fifth and sixth grade. Students read books and come together to demonstrate their abilities and test their knowledge of the books they have read. The competitions are lively academic competitions. Battle of the Books improves reading comprehension, builds vocabulary, and teaches teamwork and good sportsmanship. 

Fifth and sixth grade students will be teamed in groups of no more than three (with a maximum of 30 teams per school) to compete and test their knowledge in three exciting school competitions/battles during the 2022-2023 school year. There will be three battles throughout the school year. The top team from all three battles will move to district competition.
