• The 5th grade Social Studies content is so interesting!  Below is a list of topics we will cover this year:

     

    • Geography and Regions, 50 states
    • Colonies-brief overview since this topic has now become a 4th grade topic
    • Revolutionary War
    • Constitution and Government
    • Westward Expansion
    • Civil War
    • Industrialism

     

    We will use the textbook United States History and supplement with videos, websites, projects, and interactive notebook sheets.  We will also do Daily Geography to enhance our skills in that area.
