    A brief overview of the Canyon Springs music programs are outlined below

    General Music: Offered to all students during their specials period K-3, 5, 6, 8.  4th-grade music class is a "pre-band" oriented curriculum - See "band" for more information.
    Contact Ms. Olds if you have questions about your child's participation in music class. 
    Band: Offered to 5-8 students; all 4th-grade students have music class with Mr. Serbic.
    4th-grade music - students will try different instruments from woodwind, brass, and percussion families throughout the year.
    Beginning Band starts in 5th and 6th grade this year.  Please attend our informational meeting on August 22 for more information.
    Paw Pride Band is a year long for 7-8 students and meets first hour.  Any 7th or 8th-grade student may join within the first two weeks of school, simply talk to Mr. Serbic and he'll make it happen!  Transfer students are welcome upon enrollment at Canyon Springs.

    Chorus: available to students 3-8 grade.
    The Wolf Cub Choir is open to all 3-5 grade students and meets Thursday mornings at 7:15 am.
    6th grade choir is open to any 6th grade student as a music choice and meets during specials on days 2 and 5 in our 6 day schedule.  
    Concert Choir is a year-long class meeting 1st or 7th period and is open to any 7th or 8th grade student as an elective choice.  This class is also open to our 6th grade Renaissance students.
