Mrs. Witmer is beginning her 10th year in DVUSD.   She has worked as an ELL Specialist, taught middle school electives and is now a Reading Specialist.  This is her 8th year as a Firebird and absolutely loves teaching reading all day.  Prior to working in DVUSD, she was a stay at home mom and also taught preschool and first grade for 8 years.   She loves spending time with her husband David, her two kids, Thomas and Stella.  In her spare time she likes to cook, exercise, hang out with her friends, and plan her next adventure.
