    Suggested Art Supply List

Many parents and students request a list of supplies we will be using in art class this year. The students are not required to purchase their own materials. The only request is that the students have a pencil and eraser for use every day in class.   Some students like to have their own art supplies so they can keep them in good condition and bring them home to practice. As students reach a more advanced level, they will often prefer to have their own supplies. Most supplies can be purchased at Wal-Mart, Target, Michaels, Joann’s, Hobby Lobby, Staples, Office Max, Amazon, Walgreens, and many other local stores. The best time to buy them is when the back to school specials are still on, also look for coupons online and in the newspaper.

Pink Pearl or White vinyl erasers

Black Sharpies/ Micron pens- 1 thick and 1 thin

    Hand held pencil sharpener

Pencil pouch to store supplies in

    Sketchbook

    Prismacolor Pencil Set

    Blending stumps- asst. sizes

    Set of drawing pencils

We would also appreciate donations for the class, we could use Ziploc bags- small and large to store paints and clay projects in and tissues for blending and runny noses.

Thank you in advance for supporting your child’s artistic interests and the Art Department at Desert Sky.

    Sincerely,

    Stephanie Sullinger-Dukarm
