I am excited about being the counselor for Sonoran Foothills School for the 6th year! I will be working with 7th and 8th graders as well as support for K-6. We will be using the EQ model that our school has adopted as well as having guest speakers, classroom lessons and academic guidance throughout the year.

I attended GCU for my degrees in secondary education and art education. I am endorsed for K-12 art and have taught art at the elementary and high school level in DVUSD. I have my masters in educational counseling from University of Phoenix and love being able to help students reach their full potential. I believe all children are able to be successful when given the right tools.

When not at school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, our two dogs and bunny.
