    Students can name "三角形triangle", "长方形rectangle", "正方形square", and "圆形circle".

    (Our curriculum says that square is a special rectangle. :)

    Students can sort 2-D shapes into 2 groups based on which ones have curves and which ones don't have curves.

    Students can demonstrate their counting down process by building a stair 10-1.

    Teaching Outcome:

    Students can count objects and write numbers 0-10.

    Students start to get the idea of making 10.

    Teaching Outcome:

    Students can count objects and write numbers 0-9.

    Students can quickly tell the number of dots shown in 5-group way (counting up from 5 instead of having to start at 1).

    Students can count down with the help of their fingers.

     

    Week 5 9/3-6/2019

    Module 1 Lesson 17-20

    Teaching Outcome:

    Students can count objects and write numbers 0-7.

    Students know the rules of 5-group dot card, which is you cannot put more than 5 in one row.

    Half of the class were introduced to triangle and related its Mandarin name to its shape features. The other half will catch up next Monday.

    Students can count down from 5 to 0.

    Students can count to 10 in Mandarin fluently.

    Students can put 1-5 in number order.

    Students can count objects within 5 and match the number.
