The 6 "B's"
There are non active hours for the Health Center where there is restricted or limited access, only students with emergencies / 6 B's may come to the office. At the beginning of the school year, each Primary classroom was visited by the nurse and 4-6th grades were shown a video to educate students and teachers on how to access the Health Center for illnesses and injuries and to explain that an emergency included any one of the 6 B's: (See below)-
Bleeding more than 2 bandaids can handle.

Breathing (always come with a buddy if you are having trouble breathing!).

Barfing (Vomiting -remember to barf into the bucket in the Health office, or a nearby trash can).

Bee Stings
The nurse is always accessible for the students if there is a question of illness or injury.
