Ms. Washburn

My name is Alexandra Washburn and it will be my 4th year in education. New River definitely has a special place in my heart and look forward to working with this amazing group of staff and students in the 2018-2019 school year. I love every minute of being a Special Education teacher as well as teaching the intervention program, Read 180. I graduated in 2015 with a dual major in Elementary and Special Education from Northern Arizona University (LUMBERJACK FOR LIFE!). I truly love teaching upper elementary and middle school students. These kids literally have the best sense of humor, they are so smart and just plain fun to be around. I am looking forward to a great year full of memories!
