My name is Karen Bedgood.  I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Elementary Education.  I taught second and third grade in Northern California and Arizona for seven years before taking time off to stay at home with my children.  When my twins started kindergarten, I transitioned back into teaching as a substitute teacher.  In 2018, I taught the SAGE Math program at Las Brisas Elementary.  In 2019, I had the honor of joining the Village Meadows team to run the SPARK Enrichment program.  

 

I have been married to my husband for 23 years. We have three children that attend schools in DVUSD. TJ is a senior at Sandra Day O'Connor High School.  Our twins, Tiffany and Tyler, are 7th graders at Stetson Hills. We love to travel, swim, play board games and watch movies together. As of 2021, our family has visited all 50 states together!
