When I look back at my childhood, I can remember how much I loved to experiment with mixing the plants and other things in my parents' backyard.  I remember driving from Arizona to Colorado and being amazed by how different the landscapes can be. I also remember, even in my college years, how much fun it was to look at science with a great lab group.  My hope as your teacher is that you too can experience the wonder and beauty that is science.

I have a Bachelor's in Biochemistry and a Masters in Secondary Education and completed both of my degrees at Arizona State University.

This will be my 7th year teaching and my 4th year at Norterra Canyon. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a cytology lab technician for Sonora Quest.

When I am not working, I enjoy reading, playing the piano and coaching soccer.  I have two daughters ages 9 and 10 that always surprise me with their creative ideas and kindness (they fight plenty too).
