My name is Laura Martinez and  I am the EL Teacher Specialist for the this campus. I have been teaching for 25+ years. Teaching English as a Second Language to students from K-8th grade has been my passion. I have also taught EL in college, been a coach to teachers, and have been a mentor to student teachers. 

  On a more personal level, I am married with 3 wonderful children.  I have a daughter and twin sons.  I enjoy hiking and learning new methods to help my students.  

  Mi nombre es Laura Martinez y so la Maestra de Ingles en esta escuela.  Tengo mas de 25 anos de maestra y doy clase a estudiantes de Kinder al Octavo grado. My pasion es ensenar ingles a estidiantes.  Tambien e dado clases de Ingles a nivel coligial, a sido un coach a maestras(os), y e ensenada a estudiantes a ser maestras.

  A un nivel personal, tengo 3 hijo hermosos.  Tengo una nina y dos ninos.  Me gusta el senderismo y aprender nuevos metodos para ayudar a mis estudiantes.
