Welcome to my page!  I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! Here is a little bit about me.

I have lived in phoenix for 22 years and love calling it my home.  In 2015 I married my husband Ryan and we had our first son (Koen) in 2016. In 2018 we welcomed another baby boy into our family (Devin).  We also have 2 Chihuahuas and one chocolate lab that complete our family. Outside of school I love spending time with my family and friends.  I also enjoy baking, snowboarding, playing volleyball, reading, and decorating.  

In December 2012 I graduated with an honors degree in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University.  The first job I took out of college was a Kindergarten position and I very quickly fell in love with the grade level. Kindergarten really is THE BEST! This will be my first year teaching at Copper Creek, however I also attended Copper Creek as a student.  I am excited to start my 9th year teaching Kindergarten as a "Copper Creek comeback kid". 

I love teaching Kindergarten and I am very passionate about allowing kids to learn and experience the joy that learning can bring. Watching how much a Kindergarten mind can learn is incredible. I am also an apple certified teacher and believe that technology is an amazing tool! I look forward to communicating with you throughout your child’s Kindergarten experience.  Parent-teacher communication is extremely important to me and my goal is to create a wonderful family-Teacher team for our students.
