I am very excited about my first year at Las Brisas!  I have been teaching for 14 years, all with DVUSD. I have taught 4th, 5th, and 2nd grades, as well as multi-age ESL. This is my sixth year as a gifted cluster teacher. I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and endorsements in Structured English Emersion and Gifted Education.

 

I foster a classroom atmosphere of collaboration, exploration, curiosity, discovery, fun, and challenge. 

 

On a personal note, I am a multi-generational Arizona native.  My husband, Rob, and I have three wonderful grown children, whom we are extremely proud of.   I love creating art, reading, exploring Arizona, doing yoga, and TEACHING!!!
