This quarter was going to be our brass unit.  I know you didn't get to play the trumpet but enjoy this video about how trumpets are made.  There are a few questions on a Google form for you to answer about the video.

Be thinking about what instrument you might want to play in band next year!

    Band 6

Record yourself playing a song using the Flip grid.  You can play a scale from page 40 or 41.  You can play #78 Skill Builder or any song of your choice.  Our new learning this week is to share your performance with me using the Flip grid.

I have edited the grid so it should be easier for you to access it.

Continue to explore music using the One Size Fits All Band Book.  If you haven't found a song yet, please pick one and let me know what you have picked.  If you need help be sure to come to a Zoom meeting and I will show you how to use the sight

    Band 5

Review work on Rio Con Brio.  Tell me your highest note, lowest note and how many rests are in the song.  Clap the rhythms before you try to play.  Begin working on the song one measure at a time.  Put your measures together to create the song.  Song is #54 on page 15.  I am attaching an mp3 with the melody to help you get started.

Intro to Flipgrid.  Our new learning this week is to send a short video or yourself using Flipgrid.  We can use this app for you to share your performances with me.  This week say hello and tell me a fun fact about yourself.  Click on the link and follow the easy instructions.

    4th Grade

Watch the video about Musical Notes and answer the questions in the Google Form.  Be sure to submit and turn in your work.  This video deals with rhythms and note values.

This is for your fun.  Play alone or with someone in your family.  On the right side under rhythms is the Rhythms Hoop Shoot basketball game.  There are many other games you can find and try for your self - identifying instruments, naming notes, rhythms and much more.  Keep this page since you may be assigned a specific game to play in the future
