What is the Grand Canyon Reader Award? The Grand Canyon Reader Award is a reader award program, sponsored by the Arizona Library Association, for students in Arizona. Students can vote annually on their favorite book in the following categories: Picture, Non-Fiction, Intermediate, Tween and Teen. You can find out more at their website.

Read the Grand Canyon Reader Award nominated books and vote for which one you think deserves to win the award from the students of Arizona.
Mx. Zehr will read all the picture book nominees during scheduled class story times, but if you miss one, or don't have a story time, you can still check out and read the nominees. In order to vote for your favorite, you must read or have read to you at least five of the nominees. Click here to see the list of PICTURE BOOK nominees and put one on hold in Destiny Discover.
Intermediate and Tween books
This year, in addition to the picture book nominees, the Paseo Hills Library Media Center will also have the Intermediate and Tween book nominees available for checkout. In order to vote for your favorite intermediate or tween book, you must read at least three books from each category.
