I was born in Michigan and received my BA from Michigan State University (Go Spartans!).  I also hold endorsements in Early Childhood Education, English Language Learner, and am working toward my Gifted Education endorsement.  I have taught for 30 years, 20 of those years in Arizona, and 18 of those years in 3rd grade.  I have been married for 33 years, and have 1 son and 2 daughters- all in their twenties. We have 2 dogs- 11 year old Ruby and 3 year old Sadie.   I enjoy reading, family game night, movies, crosswords and baking.  I am passionate about integrating STEM activities into my lessons and making connections with my students.   Go Toros!
