Media Productions

Graphic Design Advisor

My name is Robyn Kreitl and I am starting my 29th year teacher here at BGHS.  In those years, I have taught English, Yearbook, Newspaper, Journalism, Student Government, Internship Coordinator and I now currently teach media productions and graphic design.  I enjoy working with eager minds, and have seen students create some amazing work over the years. I have a daughter who will be a senior at UofA and a son who is a freshman at ASU, we have a divided house.  During my spare time I love to hike, workout, play with my three dogs, volunteer for K9 rescues, foster and be with my family.  I have been married to my wonderful husband for almost 23 years.

If you are thinking about taking Media Productions you will get to use programs like Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.  Projects include music video, stop motion animation, TV commercial, 5 minute short, annoucnements, PSA, Green Screen projects, sports stories, and much more.  I am the advisor for the Media Club and students compete each year in broadcast and film at the state level.

In graphic design students will learn Adobe Illistrator and Adobe Photoshop.  Students will learn how to navigate these programs and create project designs individually as well as in a group.  Students will also learn soft skills such as resume writing, how to design a professional email, how to dress for job interview or how to conduct themselves in a professional environment.
