COVID-19 SCHOOL CLOSURES
Governor Doug Ducey and Superintendent of Public Instruction Kathy Hoffman announced March 30, 2020 the extension of Arizona school closures through the end of the school year. The extension follows updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
DVUSD will continue our plan for Home Learning through the end of the school year. In addition, this announcement gives us more information to be able to make decisions about the important end of the school year questions that many parents have. We will work as quickly as we can to have additional information for parents and students as soon as possible.

Deer Valley Unified School District staff have been and continue to be in communication with the Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH)and the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) regarding COVID-19, which is a respiratory illness that can spread from person to person.
