    Special Education Teacher K-2nd

    ms. Anderson

    Hello Families and Students!

I'm Kimberlynn Anderson and I'm so excited about being your teacher this year! This is my third year at Diamond Canyon and I am so thrilled to be a Coyote again this year! A fun fact about me is that I was a Navybrat my whole childhood, and moved around every three years till my family resettled back here. I graduated from ASU Magna Cum Laude with my Bachelors of Arts in Education in Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education. When I was in high school, I joined the Early Childhood program and from then on I have had my heart set on being a teacher. I have had a huge passion for special education since my student teaching and helping my students meet their needs. I'm a big believer that every student can learn. It might just look different for some people. Another passion of mine is to be a life-long learner, so this year I will be continuing my masters in Instructional Leadership K-12 at NAU. This year I will also be starting my reading endorsement at NAU.

A little bit about me is that I have rescued a lab puppy mix named Sol. In my free time I love to read, play with my pup, and go on trips to Payson.

I'm so excited about this year and can not wait to work with y'all this year!
