Dear Parents,

              My name is Matthew Henson and I will be your child’s 5^th grade math and science teacher. This will be my fifth year teaching. I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and earned a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction (English as a Second Language). I am currently working on attaining an EdD in Applied Sciences from the University of Miami.

               I am very excited to be working with 5^th grade this year. I hope that your child will find 5^th grade both fun and challenging. I am very familiar with the age level curriculum.
