• Strategies to support your child

     Here are some easy ways you can help your child with their online course(s).

    1. Make a parent account on Canvas. 

     a.  Please see Creating a Parent Account and Create a Student Pairing Code to do this. 
     
     b. This will allow you to see your child's progress on the Canvas platform.

    2. Have assess to PowerSchool.

    a. Canvas and PowerSchool are linked. Grades update immediately in Canvas and PowerSchool and Canvas sync nightly.

    b. Grades will be updated as assignments are graded.

    4. Contact me if you have questions about the course content or technology issues.

    5. Communication is very important. Events outside of school can impact participation. Please know that I am here if you need to make me aware of a situation or event that may be impacting your child's learning or participation in their courses.
