Hello Parents and Students!

My name is Melissa Field and I am a teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing in our district.  I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Master of Arts in Special Education with a focus on students with hearing loss. I love teaching and have worked with deaf and hard of hearing students for more than twenty years. I can't imagine doing anything else!  I am married to a wonderful man and we have one son who works as a paramedic in Fort Collins, Colorado.  We also have a giant Bernese Mountain Dog, Cooper, whom we love dearly!  We are huge sports fans and support all the local teams.  We love attending Cardinals', Suns', and Diamondbacks' games.  When I am not working or watching a sporting event, I love to read, hike, and do crossword puzzles.
