• COVID-19 Reporting Procedures for

    DVUSD Parents and Students

     

    If a student has symptoms of COVID-19 or they test positive for COVID-19, parents should do the following:

         *Keep child home.

         *If your child tests positive or has COVID-19 like symptoms, your child should be kept home.

         *Parent/Guardian should contact the School Nurse at 623-376-3310 regarding your child's health. Please inform the School Nurse that your child has tested positive for COVID 19.

         *Complete the regular student absence procedures by contacting the school attendance line at 623-376-3390 and notify them of your student's absence.

         *If a parent has any questions they can contact the School Nurse via phone (623-376-3310) or email.

         

    The Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) has provided a helpful tool called the Home Isolation Decision Maker Tool. If you have questions about whether your child should isolate at home, this tool can help. The tool can be accessed by visiting www.maricopa.gov/covidisolationtool
