Bonjour!  Hola!  Nĭ hăo!

I'm Mrs. Loveland, your Union Park Gifted Specialist!  I have a background in Gifted education and world languages!  I worked with gifted students as the Gifted Advisor at the high school level for eight wonderful years. I taught all levels of French for thirteen years.  I've also taught Biology and ELL.  I was a New Teacher Mentor for three years in TUHSD and the World Language Specialist/Immersion Coordinator for five years in DVUSD.  As much as I loved teaching adults, the universe was calling me back to the classroom and I'm so excited to be working with students at Union Park!

My passion is definitely teaching!  I even teach in my spare time, volunteering to teach English and volunteering to teach youth classes at church.  My other passion is my family!  I love spending time with my husband and our nine year old son.  We have hosted exchange students throughout our lives and have other 'children' around the world. We enjoy traveling and learning new things.
