2020 - 2021  will be my 25th year of teaching!  I started my career off in Spearfish, South Dakota, and have spent the last twenty-three years in Phoenix.  In undergraduate school, I majored in Secondary Education and History, with a minor in Middle School.  

Once I moved to Phoenix, I completed a Master's degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.  As time went on, I decided to get another Master's degree in Administration from Grand Canyon University.  Although I am certified to be a principal, I absolutely love the classroom and cannot imagine leaving!

In addition, I have a full Gifted Endorsement, as well as a full English Second Language Endorsement (21 college credits). Per the state of Arizona, I am certified to teach: High School English & History, Middle School Language Arts & Social Studies, Gifted & ELD.
