Mrs. Lisette Romero

Lisette Romero teaches Spanish and is the World Language department leader. She co-sponsors the MRHS Mentor Program and the Gay and Straight Alliance Club. She is a 2000 graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish, a Post-Bac in Secondary Education from Ottawa University, and a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Arizona State University in 2007. Born in Tucson and raised in Casa Grande, she is a native of Arizona. She enjoys exploring other cultures, listening to music, crafting, teaching Sunday school, kayaking, camping, and hiking with her dog.  Lisette is married to Sean Romero, one of our now retired MRHS Science teachers.  She has two sons currently attending MRHS and two Mountain Lion alumni stepsons.  The whole family loves MRHS! This is her 19th wonderful year teaching Spanish here.
