Mrs. Lisette Romero

Lisette Romero teaches Spanish and is the World Language department leader. She co-sponsors the MRHS Mentor Program in addition to the Indian Student Association and the Gay and Straight Alliance Club. She is a 2000 graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish, a Post-Bac in Secondary Education from Ottawa University, and a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Arizona State University in 2007. Born in Tucson and raised in Casa Grande, she is a native of Arizona. She enjoys exploring other cultures, listening to music, crafting, kayaking, camping and hiking. Lisette is married to Sean Romero, one of our MRHS Science teachers.  She has one son currently attending MRHS, one son in junior high, and two Mountain Lion alumni stepsons.  The whole family loves MRHS! This is her 17th wonderful year teaching Spanish here.
