NO PERSONAL ELECTRONIC DEVICES ever during class. This rule is posted in my classroom and is NON-NEGOTIABLE.
STUDENT EXPECTATIONS:
Behavior
1. Do whatever you wish as long as it doesn't create a problem for someone.
2. If someone, including an adult or another student, communicates to you that they have a problem with what you're doing, I expect you to quickly work out a reasonable solution.
3. If you do not find a reasonable solution on your own, then I will make a choice for you and you will be expected to follow it.
Academic
1.Students are expected to be on time at school every day.
2. Complete assignments on time. A zero will be given for missing assignments until they are completed.
3. Assessments may be retaken as long as all classwork has been completed for that unit of study.
I will help any student raise their grade if they show an earnest effort to grow by regularly following my behavior and academic expectations.
PARENT/GUARDIAN EXPECTATIONS:
1. Model safe, respectful, and responsible behavior for your children.
2. Value education by ensuring your children come to school every day.
3. Hold your children accountable for poor choices with firm but loving consequences, and reinforce their mature choices.
4. Respectfully communicate and work with our faculty and administration to identify and solve problems.
TEACHER EXPECTATIONS:
The expectations I place upon myself are the same as those I place upon my students and their parents and guardians. If I expect others to do these things, I must expect them of myself. If you have additional expectations of me, please let me know!
