My name is Mrs. Deann Potts and I am very excited to be a part of the Bobcat team!  I earned a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University. I am certified in K-12 Physical Education and Health and have been teaching for 21 years and 20 of those years in the DVUSD. I also teach Fitness Center for the Aspire Online Academy during the summer session.

I have been married to my amazing husband for 25 years! We have three children; 2 daughters (24, 24), a son-in-law (24) a son (18), 1 yellow lab (Casey) and a new puppy who is a French Pointer. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with family, attending my kids' various activities and traveling, as well as being in the outdoors. I look forward to a great year at Copper Creek!
