Welcome to Kindergarten at Park Meadows. My name is Kelley Fisher. I have been a teacher for 24 years, spending the last 22 in Deer Valley. I moved to Arizona from Rock Island, Illinois to begin my teaching career with my husband, Glen, and my son, Zachary. I am a graduate of Western Illinois University. I am a National Board Certified Teacher, and have been named Deer Valley Teacher of the Year, as well as the 2021 Arizona Education Association Teacher of the Year. I love being a teacher and devote much of my free time to education, my classroom, and educating myself to become a better teacher. When I am not working on educational concerns, I love to spend my time cooking for my family and friends (I also love to bring treats for the staff at Park Meadows!), reading, listening to music, shopping, and attending sporting events. My husband and I are both big baseball fans. We also love to travel. We have spent a few vacations in Mexico and love to take weekend get aways to Sedona and Las Vegas! Being a mom to Zachary is my favorite thing to do and even though he now lives in Utah, I still love spoiling him whenever I can!
I look forward to a fantastic year with your child. My goal is to give each and every child who walks through my door a great kindergarten year full of learning, growing and fun! It is my hope we can work as partners to ensure your child has an amazing year of school!
