Welcome to Ms. Anderson's (Room 403)

  • Welcome to Ms. Anderson's room! I'm so excited about working with you this year.

    Prior to starting the school year, or starting in my room, I wanted to give a preview of what our room looks like. First, is our room's theme! Our theme is "Growth" Mindset. In my room we love our plants, and use them to label everything. Every student has a 1 inch white binder to keep all of their learning and materials in one set place. That way, they do not need to worry about bringing materials back and forth from their classrooms.

    A few fun things about our room is that we have an amazing fish named Chrysamthemum. Another, is our token economy to reward those expected behaviors in and out of our classroom. Tickets can be turned in quarterly for all sorts of fun prizes or experiences. Also, don't forget to remind me when it is your birthday, to pick a fun birthday treat from my bin.

    These are not required, but welcomed at any point in the year. These items help save our classroom budget and be prioritized for hands-on materials.

    • 1 inch 3 ring white binder (preferably with cover protectors)
    • Highlighters (orange, pink, yellow, green, and blue)
