Hi families ! My name is Analissa Torres and I am the 6th grade math and science teacher. I obtained two bachelors degrees in Legal Studies and Politics from the University of California Santa Cruz. After college, I shortly started teaching 4th and 5th grade for the next two years. In 2022, I graduated from GCU with my certificate in Elementary Education (K-6). I am very excited about starting my 3rd year of teaching and being part of the Viking family.

I grew up in San Diego, CA where my mother and two younger sisters reside. Apart from being a teacher, I am a huge Disney fan , and enjoy going to the theme parks as often as I can ! Here in Arizona, I enjoy fitness activities and spending time with my two dogs.

I am very excited about teaching our 6th graders,  and helping them become the best versions of themselves!
