Hello!  My name is Crista Byrom and I am so happy to be the Speech Language Pathologist at Deer Valley High School.  I received my Bachelor's Degree at Iowa State University in Sociology and Communication Disorders and my Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology at Arizona State University.  I worked in the hospital system specializing in TBI recovery for several years in Arizona and California before I switched to providing speech therapy in schools.  This is my fourth year in DVUSD.

When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my husband and two children.  We like to travel and some of my favorite places that we have visited are New Zealand, Costa Rica, Ireland and Australia (I love koala bears).  You can also find us playing with our pets (2 cats and 1 dog), riding bikes, hiking, playing pickle ball, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers on Sundays (I was born in Wisconsin!).  

I am very excited and happy to be here at Deer Valley High School.  Go Skyhawks!
