    This is a fantastic opportunity for your child to get to EXPERIENCE the landmarks, memorials, museums, and monuments they have learned about in textbooks and classrooms - IN PERSON!  Hands-on, experiential learning is truly unforgettable and sparks excitement for further learning, inquiry and even future career choices.  Students enjoy this adventure in our nation's capitol even more when learning, discussing and debating amongst their peers. We will be holding an informational meeting in August for interested parties to answer questions and give more details about this educational learning adventure.  The 5 day trip is booked for March 5 - March 9, 2023. This is the first year Sonoran Foothills has offered the D.C. experience and we are opening it up to both 7th and 8th graders this year.  Costs will be $1,980 and include the cost of round trip airfare, lodging, meals, transportation and all other expenses other than personal souvenirs.  

    The informational meeting will be Thursday, August 25th, 5:30 - 6:00 pm on campus in the library. A reminder flyer will come home as well as an email the week of this meeting.
