Welcome to our 5th grade ELA class website.  I am thrilled to be part of the Stetson Hills Stallions' family!  Likewise, I am so looking forward to meeting this year's 5th graders and their parents.  A little bit about me...I am a Nebraska native born and raised!  My husband of 30 years and I moved down here three summers ago with his job, and we love it! I have also been an educator for 30 years, and Literacy is my jam.  I'm the blessed mother of TWO adult young men and love every minute of it!  When I'm not teaching your pride and joys, I enjoy everything outdoors...hiking, running, biking, camping and playing with my two fur babies!

     I have a degree in Elementary education, a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, and endorsement in administrative leadership.  I believe every child has the ability to learn, and that children learn at different paces and in different ways.  I will do my very best every day to meet the needs of every 5th grader that enters our classroom.  I also believe that it takes a village to raise our children, and will be calling on you for your support at home.  Thank you for sharing your child with me, and I look forward to teaching him/her.
