• I teach Culinary 1 which is the beginning of the learning journey. We start in pastries and progress to pasta and other noodle dishes and add meat later in the year. We are in class learning 2-3 days a week and in the kitchen following instructions and recipes 2-3 days per week. All materials are provided.

    We also have a restaurant on site, Avenue 27, which is a fine dining restaurant run by students that are advanced and beginners as well. We are very proud of the fine dining restaurant. Please come and have a meal with us sometime. @Ave.27 on the BGHS website for reservations. 

    We participate in competitions that often merit scholarship monies for the participating students. These are FCCLA and CCAP.  There are many opportunities to learn and advance in this CTE Culinary program.
