    Welcome! My name is Robert Morgan and I am excited to be in my 6th year of teaching, and third year as a Firebird! My experience is teaching Social Studies for five years and Writing for one year. I am also in my third year as Athletic Coordinator for Gavilan Peak. I hold a degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology, a Master's Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis on Social Studies, and I am working on a second Master's Degree in Educational Administration. 

     

    I have lived in Arizona for 6 years. Before that, I grew up in Central Point, Oregon until attending college at The University of Arizona. Bear Down! I attended U of A on a football scholarship and was a part of the team from 2013-2017. I met my wife, who was a part of the softball team, at U of A. We have a two-year-old daughter and two Border Collies. 

     

    Social Studies in 7th Grade is a difficult subject for some students because it is the first time the subject is focused on for an entire class period. We cover a lot of topics and I want to help all students succeed. If there are any questions about the work or progress of your student, please reach out to me through my email.
