I am so happy to be a member of the EL team!  This is my 16th year teaching in the Deer Valley district. I've had the privilege of teaching Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and K/1 EL. The motivation of my students inspires me daily, and I love celebrating their success throughout the school year and beyond.  

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (K-8) and endorsements in Early Childhood Education and Structured English Immersion (K-12). I achieved National Board Certification in 2020, completed an endorsement in Gifted Education in 2021, and a Middle Grades ELA certificate in 2023. I am honored to be a Deer Valley Education Foundation and DVUSD 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year.
