• Dear Parents/Guardians:

    My name is Taylor Pratt and I will be your child's Fifth Grade, Science and Social Studies teacher this year. I graduated from Northern Arizona University this past May with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education!

    Originally, I was from Anthem and attended Anthem Elementary, followed by Boulder Creek High school. I played volleyball for 10 years and love playing sports as well as watching them!  

    I am very eager to get into the classroom and meet your child and begin our educational journey together. During my experience in the classroom, I have found it to be essential to hold every student to a high standard and push their thinking to a deeper level when necessary. When in the classroom, I think it is important to keep learning fun and exciting for students by incorporating projects and hands-on activities. I believe setting expectations and building a strong relationship with your student will allow for a more enjoyable and productive year overall! I am beyond excited about being at Canyon Springs and teaching fifth grade!
