Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Lucy Kelsall

I was born and raised in the United Kingdom and moved to the USA in 2015 with my family. I am a very lucky mama to two beautiful young ladies, Amelie, who will be a Freshman at Boulder Creek this year and Lillie, who will be in 7th Grade at Diamond Canyon. We have been part of the Coyote Family for the past 3 years, after relocating to Arizona from Northern California in 2020.

This will be my second year with DVUSD and Diamond Canyon and I am extremely excited to be a Special Education Teacher for 3rd - 5th Grade this year.

I have always had a passion for the learning process and how we can serve our next generation better. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture in 2005 and had the fantastic opportunity to work on many different educational buildings throughout my career in Architecture, to contribute to some amazing projects for the education sector in the UK. After our move to the US, I wanted to use my knowledge gained from being a designer of educational buildings and apply that into teaching. I worked for a number of years as a Paraprofessional in CA and AZ and then decided to take the leap into becoming a Special Education Teacher.

I am looking forward to a fantastic year at DC, helping our children grow, supporting them and encouraging them every step of the way.
