  • Social Studies Course Description

    Our focus in 7th Grade is Integrated Global Studies (1543 – 1991). Students will study the Scientific Revolution & Enlightenment – the Cold War. In addition, types of governments and the basics of economics will be explored. All content is based on the Arizona State Social Studies Standards and the Arizona College & Career Readiness Standards: Literacy in History/Social Studies.     World Cultures Course Description

    Join us on an exciting adventure around the world in the World Cultures course! This fun and educational program takes you on a journey through all the continents, exploring their geography, cultures, and art. You will discover the different landscapes, climates, and natural resources of each continent, and learn how geography affects where people live. Explore the customs, traditions, and social life of different societies, and study the languages, religions, and ideas that make each culture unique. Enjoy amazing art from ancient times to today, and learn how art reflects and shapes cultural identities. This course includes interactive learning with multimedia resources and hands-on projects like making art, researching cultures, and giving presentations.
