A Little About Me!
Hello! My name is Diana DeReese and I’m excited to be teaching fifth grade reading, writing, and social studies at a genuinely fantastic school, Gavilan Peak.
This will be my 31st year of teaching students from first to sixth grades in Ohio, Texas, and our beautiful Arizona!
Graduating from Ohio Wesleyan University, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Education and psychology, later earning my Masters Degree in Curriculum Instruction for Reading from Grand Canyon University in 2006.
I am blessed to have two beautiful kids and enjoy spending time with family and friends, running, swimming, biking, being in nature, reading, and going to the movies. Passions include coaching as a Gavilan Peak Cross Country coach, and the Boulder Creek Track/Field Middle School Coach for 5-8th grade students for all BC Feeder Schools!
I look forward to another fantastic year at Gavilan Peak and Boulder Creek!
