My name is Mark Blackwell, this is my 32nd year of teaching students with special needs. I did my first years of teaching in Upstate NY in Glens Falls(close to Lake George or the base of the Adirondack Mtns.) In 2005, I moved to Arizona, where I took a teaching position in the Cave Creek School District. After 3 years being at Sonoran Trails Middle School, I came to Gavilan Peak in the Deer Valley School District. I worked 12 years at Gavilan Peak working as the 7/8 Special Education Teacher. I am looking forward to be starting my 1st year at Union Park(the home of the Toros).
