Athlete & Parent Resources
Every athlete and every team has to have a solid game plan going into the season for the best chance of success. If your child is interested in participating in Deer Valley Unified School District athletics, make sure he/she is prepared well in advance with all of the necessary forms, medical clearances, and training required, as well as all fees paid in full.
Your best resource of information beyond this website, or consultation with your child's coach or school's athletic director, is the DVUSD Athlete Handbook. Please download and save this guide throughout the season for any quick reference to DVUSD and AIA rules and regulations.
Once you are ready with all of your materials, access (or create) your account on Register My Athlete to start the registration process.

NFHS Sportsmanship Course
Sportsmanship is the foundation for interscholastic sports and activities. Coaches, officials, parents, and fans all have a role in creating a positive environment for young people and understanding those roles is critically important. Do your part in contributing to good sportsmanship in your school and community and take the course “Sportsmanship”, available for free on the NFHS Learning Center.
Booster/Parent Club Guide
DVUSD acknowledges that some of the strongest school support comes from groups such as PTOs, PTAs, PTO’s, Booster Clubs and other organizations. These groups provide the opportunity for not only the parents, family members and friends of our students, but also other concerned community members to participate in the activities and events of our schools. DVUSD supports and encourages the formation of these groups with the hope that they will continue to contribute to the success of DVUSD.
