Athletic Fees

Single 7th/8th grade athlete

$120 per sport ($240 maximum annually per athlete, for multiple sports)

Single 9th-12th grade athlete

$200 per sport ($400 maximum annually per athlete, for multiple sports)

Multiple students in a family/household

$500 maximum annually, per family/household*
Marching Band/AFJROTC Color Guard $100 per season
* A family or family household is defined by the United States Census Bureau
for statistical purposes as “a householder and one or more other people
related to the householder by birth, marriage, or adoption.”

The fees were unanimously approved (4-0) by the Governing Board on April 28, 2026.

ATHLETIC FEE PAYMENTS

  • It is the parent’s or guardian's responsibility to keep receipts when paying for multiple family members in regards to tracking the family maximum amount being met.
  • Athletic fees are non-refundable.
  • The DVUSD Athletic Fees do not guarantee playing time in competition.
  • Financial hardship waiver forms are available in the school office or athletic office.
