Span 1 & 2 students will arrive promptly at 3:00 pm at the Boulder Creek High School campus.  We dismiss promptly at 5:45 pm.  This course is in-person only. 

Must bring a Chromebook charged and headphones.

Information About Your Course

Canvas continues as the main delivery of materials, with speaking activities.  Assignments will be posted daily on Canvas - students may only work on that day's assignments and will not have homework - given that they are managing their time in our 3 hour class period, Monday - Thursday.

 

To access our class through Canvas, use the same sign-on that you use for other school logins.  We will be using paper-based curriculum for this session, but Canvas will have information on how to contact the teacher if needed.  In-person attendance is expected for all classes unless prior arrangement is made with the Pathways administration.

Students are to report to Pathways each day and will be counted absent if arriving later than 10 minutes after the class is scheduled to start.  All coursework will be done in the classroom and participation is essential for success.

Students will lose access to prior work not submitted prior to Friday May 2, 2025 by the end of class.  This is one week before the end of the term.

Dear Families,

Welcome to Pathways and to my Spanish 1-2 and Spanish 3-4 class.  My name is Mrs. Lupita Hamilton, and I am excited to be teaching your son or daughter this coming session of Pathways. I would love to share some of my personal information with you. I grew up in México and moved to the United States in 1988. I attended the University of Toledo and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree in Arts and a Bachelor's degree in Education. Also, I attended the University of Castilla La Mancha, Toledo, Spain in the summer of 1999. 

I have been teaching for 21 years; 13 years in Holland, Ohio for Springfield Unified School District and currently completing my 8th year at Boulder Creek High School. Go Jags!

At Boulder Creek High School, I have taught Spanish 1-4 Regular and Spanish 1–2 Honors and 5–6 Honors. Also, Spanish 1–2 Pathways and currently Spanish 3–4 Pathways. 

I have a wonderful husband, 2 step-daughters, and 4 wonderful grandchildren. Also, I have 2; Shih Tzus, Lola and Sammy. I am the oldest of five children, and I am very close with my family. When we get together, there are a total of 32 members! And yes, we celebrate any occasion. Family is an important part of my life. 

I would like to thank you for allowing me to teach your son/daughter and, hopefully, we can have a great experience in Pathways and help them succeed with completing their class.
