ABOUT YOUR COURSE
The DVUSD adopted a curriculum and focus on the AZ State Standards for English Language Arts are the main sources for materials. Canvas continues as the main delivery of materials, with additional in-class discussion. Assignments will be posted daily on Canvas - students may only work on that day's assignments and will not have homework - given that they are managing their time in our 3.5 hour class period Monday - Friday.
ELA 3-4 is a sophomore level English Language Arts course which covers This course uses a thematic approach to world literature drawing from a wide variety of multicultural selections. The subject includes both traditional classics and contemporary authors, among other topics along with all types of writing.
