Congratulations to the Latest DVUSD Governing Board Honorees!

The Deer Valley Unified School District (DVUSD) recently hosted a comprehensive awards ceremony to honor the outstanding achievements of its educators and students. From professional certifications to national academic recognition and state-level athletic success, the evening highlighted the district’s diverse talent.


Educator Excellence: National Board Certification

The district celebrated nine educators who achieved or maintained their National Board Certification, a rigorous process requiring deep reflection and evidence of student impact.

  • Deer Valley HS: The Boys Basketball team celebrated their fourth consecutive state championship appearance, finishing as 4A Runners-Up with a 27-5 record. In wrestling, junior Braya Andrews was honored as the D1 State Runner-Up after a dominant 42-5 season. Finally, the Deer Valley Pom team was recognized for their resilience and performance at a national competition in Anaheim.
