Mandarin Immersion Program

In 2023, Boulder Creek Capstone Mandarin Immersion students made a documentary as part of their final product. The seven Capstone students that are now moving into their senior year, collaborated with the Boulder Creek media department and completed an 18-minute documentary on "A day in the life of an American High School Student". The documentary was shown to Chinese high schoolers to teach them about high school life in the USA.  

Each student was required to write three separate scripts, film on-scene and in the sound studio, write subtitles in English and in Mandarin, and then assist in editing the final project.
